More questions

What might an enhanced policy add?

Chris says enhanced coverage can change the insured amount over time and discusses possible fraud coverage. Check the actual policy for exclusions, limits, and current availability.

When should you review your title quote?

Chris says his team typically quotes enhanced coverage so buyers see that cost up front, then can ask about a basic option. This describes his approach in 2024, not a requirement for every transaction.

Read transcript →
Are title premiums the only closing costs to compare?

No. Chris distinguishes title insurance premiums from settlement and document-preparation fees and urges buyers to compare the complete cost breakdown.

Read transcript →
What should sellers check before closing?

Chris asks listeners to examine how fees are allocated between buyer and seller, rather than comparing only a single headline number. Confirm any current contract terms with a qualified professional.
